Clips on dress: old hair clips!

After getting a chance to wear this dress I have decided that every girl needs not only a LBD but also a LPD, the little purple dress. It's fun to have a plain dress with a pop of color to mix it up in the closet. I liked the way the dress looked with the first belt and I liked the hair clip idea but the two didn't go well together so I decided to produce two looks instead of one. With these two looks I tried to keep them simple and just add a splash of accessories- enough to make the looks a little different from each other. Over the weekend I watched The Parent Trap so that inspired the 60's-ish stylin' that's going on. I hope Maureen O'Hara would approve!

  1. What a great dress! I do like it the first way better with the turquoise belt because of the higher contrast in colors. That dress is so perfect as a blank canvas and it fits you well.

  5. You're pretty!

I like it both ways - depending on the event I think you'd make the right decision.

PS - I l.o.v.e. my bright dresses - you're right, they are just more sassy.
