Our apologies for this being posted a day late people. We made today's Two for Tuesday centered around the same pair of Betsey Johnson tights that we both have. Well "have" as in we both saw them at DSW and flipped our lids and had to buy them right away. We were both super pumped to wear these beauties until both of ours ripped. When I went to put them on my whole left cheek popped out of them (Lindsay) and Sara got a huge rip near the band of hers as well. Luckily we only payed $6 for these and not their original price of $20. Sara's were wearable, but mine were not so I turned them into thigh highs and put a garter belt on. School got cancelled because of all that pretty snow you see in the background-so naturally we got some weird looks walking around in these outfits, but whatever we felt good in them! These tights are gorgeous, and I love how both of you styled them! It sucks that they fell apart so quickly, but I love that you managed to make them work as thigh highs.
ReplyDeleteI love that you've both worn and styled the same tights! Both outfits are incredible.In the first, I love the mix of patterns. In the second, the pink cardi really brings out the pink flowers in the tights.
ReplyDeleteYes, I sometimes get weird looks too, but I usually smile at the person and think, I look great and am so happy in my thrifted clothes right now:)
