Entire Outfit: thrifted!
So up until recently I had never seen any Marilyn Monroe movies. I just watched Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and even though I don't fully agree with the title I still really liked it. Her curves and her outfits in the movie are unreal. I think watching her movies has definitely influenced what I want to wear. I mean I already was obsessed with pinups and the 50's and 60's so this just adds to it even more. So in honor of Marilyn influencing my clothing choices I have named the blog post after her character in the movie. I also watched the prince and the showgirl-her dress in that movie was so sexaaaay! I wish I had an excuse to wear a dress like that!
My outfit is entirely thrifted which feels like such an accomplishment. I wore this yesterday out and about Cincinnati. Today is Darren and I's 6 year anniversary so we are going out to dinner tonight I will have outfit pics friday.
Off to watch the U.S.A. kick some butt in World Cup!

P.S.- one week till Florida and that means bathing suit pics...yuck. I did get 2 new bathing suits though! First the Marilyn Suit and the Esther Williams two piece. I got the Marilyn off ebay though at a much cheaper price I am too poor for that!
I have that same dress! But I can't fit into mine anymore after having my daughter, I still need to lose some pounds. It looks great on you and I agree that brunettes are better! :)
